Summary Cause Statement of Claim Styles

The form of summonses to be used in Small Claims and Summary Causes are basically the same in all cases but the statement of claim within the summonses will vary depending upon the type of action to be raised. The rules provide a form of claim for the type of action and these are detailed below. In addition, the statement of claim must give the defender fair notice of what the claim is about. Further guidance can be found in the Guidance Materials.
